ASB 2024 Annual Report_WebVersion

CONNECTING WITH OUR COMMUNITY In 2024, Athol Savings Bank embraced opportunities to enrich the lives of those around us. We were honored by several organizations, and we celebrated the power of local institutions to make a real difference in the community. Legacy Partnership Award ASB was honored to receive the Legacy Partnership Award from The United Way of North Central Massachusetts, an organization that supports youth programs, hunger initiatives, accessible heating, and so much more. The award represents 30 years of dedication to advancing the common good in North Central Mass. Presenting the award is MWCC President, James Vander Hooven to ASB Executive Assistant, Julie Mann. Educating The New Generation In July, ASB worked with the Winchendon CAC and HEAL programs to provide financial literacy training to Winchendon and Gardner Youth Changemakers. The program provided the young adults who attended with increased financial literacy and new skill sets. Save$um Program ASB has offered the Save$um Banking program at various elementary schools for over 25 years. The program introduces children to money management by promoting savings, self-discipline, and the satisfaction of watching their finances grow. We’re proud to partner with Gardner, Templeton, Athol Community, Toy Town, Petersham Center, and JR Briggs Elementary Schools.
